Sterac: The Klockworks Debut

When one thinks of Klockworks, main room, minimal techno comes to mind, and Steve Rachmad's latest release doesn't fail to deliver.

Steve Rachmad may not sound familiar to you but that's only because he's a man of many monikers. The Dutch born legend has made tracks as Sterac, Sterac Electronics, Parallel 9, Tons Of Tones, Esteban del Monte, and Ignacio... there's more of course but I think you get the idea, he's good at what he does.

This latest offering is a 4-track EP that is reminsicent of the Ost-Gut era of techno and is Rachmad's first release as Sterac since 2008. Track 2 & Rotary deliver a punchy, coarse tone that is somewhat of a departure from previous Sterac releases such as Satyricon, while In Circles takes its influences from old industrial Detroit.

This is an impressive EP, and having an attachment to Klockworks is sure to gain new interest from the younger generation, and delight from the older ones at the "return" of Rachmad.

The EP will be available on vinyl and digital form from June 23rd.
